The Practical Leadership Accelerator Workshops
Practical leadership you can put into practice.
Leaders are busy - often overwhelmed with all there is to do.
There’s no shortage of work. I get it. Your time is precious and the last thing you want to do is attend another leadership class based on theory or case studies that aren’t remotely similar to your situation.
Leadership development should help you handle the work on your plate - not waste your time.
The workshops in the Practical Leadership Accelerator bring together the most useful lessons from my 30 years of experience as a leader in the trenches, hundreds of hours of professional training, and learning from the best leadership experts. I’ve distilled that learning into frameworks and tactics you can put into practice the same day.
Based on my award-winning book, Practical Leadership, each workshop follows an 80/20 philosophy: focus on the essential skills and habits that make the biggest difference in everyday leadership. No required books or additional classes. Learn what matters, apply it to your work, and get support when you have questions.
How The Workshops Work
All workshops are delivered live, virtually over Zoom.
15 Minute Essentials Video before each Learning Lab: Learn the core concepts on your schedule so you arrive ready to discuss and apply them.
1 - Hour Weekly Learning Lab: Each lab has three parts: discuss the Essentials concepts and ask questions; work on applying the concepts and tools to your own situation; then ask follow-up questions and clarify your next steps.
1 - Hour Weekly Office Hour / Implementation Clinic: Bring questions, troubleshoot challenges, and get help putting the learning into practice.
Guided AI prompts: Use step-by-step prompts in your AI tool of choice to think through decisions, prepare for conversations, and apply the tools to your specific situation.
Recordings for review: All live sessions are recorded and available to participants to revisit as needed.

How to Build a Team Culture of Accountability and Ownership
“Everyone is busy, but the most important work still isn’t getting done & everything comes back to me.”
Build a team that owns outcomes, brings solutions, and follows through.
A culture of accountability and ownership starts with how you lead. It grows when team members understand the outcomes they’re responsible for, have the authority and support to act, and take responsibility for moving work forward.
This Workshop Is Delivered On Demand
Bring your real work. Leave ready to act.
Bring the conversation you’ve been avoiding, the responsibility you need to delegate, or the commitment that keeps slipping. You’ll practice with your actual leadership challenges and leave each Learning Lab with practical actions you can take immediately.
Value for you. Visible progress for your manager.
Build the confidence and judgment to handle more situations independently, develop a more capable team, and take ownership of outcomes. Your manager should see the concepts show up in how you work: completing work that matters most, fewer escalations, clearer communications, ownership for outcomes, move confidence, and a team that gets results.
